Characteristic
SPFH540 & SPFH590 hot-rolled high-strength automotive steel plate widely used for forming performance of the automobile frame, wheels and other automobile components.
The application of hot rolled high strength steels permits the down gauging of components without compromising material performance. In return, considerable cost savings can be realized from weight savings and the entire process route from material delivery to final component application. Typical applications include wheel discs and rims, frames and other automotive components.
Availability
• High Strength Low Alloy Steels (HSLA) with minimum yield strength ranging from 35ksi to 100ksi, in 5ksi increments (ASTM A 1011, ASTM A 1018, SAE J1392, SAE J2340)
